Fairview won the meet with a six point margin over Alva. The track- sters were enthused with the victory at Alva and journeyed to Wood- ward April 13, l945, to attend the Woodward relays. Although win- ning second in the meet, we brought home all of the three trophies for the 440, 880, and the mile relay teams. Although we outscored Enid, winners of the meet, in running events, they outscored us in field events. The following week the track boys went to Stillwater and attended the Aggie relays. The team placed first in Class B competition and third in the whole meet. The Fairview Relays which were to be held April 27 were postponed until May 5, because of heavy rain. The boys will go to Tonkawa again this year and try to win the meet as they did last year. The State Meet at Norman which will be held May ll, is an outstanding event which our boys look forward to and plan.to win again this year. 1 Girl s Basketball Forward Geraldine Zimmerman Forward lvine Paris Guard Rachel Conley Guard Left to Conley, Alice Graham, Hu ton, eta Jua Juan elva n Si Geraldine Shirley Foster ,gi Nightingale, Lois Doane, Anna Craycraft, ita Paris, Martin ckles, rman.
