If you'd ever been in a Fine Arts Department you would recognize these symp- toms as the exhilerating feeling of pride in achievement. The Fine Arts Department contained a wide area with everything from music to drawing to drama. At Fairview many of the students participated in one way or another in these cur- ricular activities. They found that whether they were in choir, band, drama, or drawing, the work was long and hard. Often frustration would lead them to the point of quitting, but something always pushed them on. Finally, the mo- ment of truth arrived and all the hard work paid. off.
