LORDS AND LADIES Our Monthly Royalty Each month the student body nomina- ted, and teachers voted on, students from the senior class to be Lord and Lady for the month. Students are cho- sen for their participation in school ac- tivities. The honor includes a luncheon with the Zonta Club for Ladies and with the Lions Club for the Lords. PROM KING, QUEEN 'A Time For Us' A tradition was started at Fairview this year, as it was the second time that we had a Prom King as well as the traditional Prom Oueen. A Time For Us, was held in the Harvest House ballroom from 9 until midnight on the evening of May 10. Couples danced to the music of HORSE THIEF CANYON, while waiting for the crowning of the Prom royalty. The moment came with the breathless crowning of Eugenie Morton and Mike Taetz as Queen and King. Couples then moved to the Elks Club for the traditional after-prom. FREDDI HENCHI AND THE SOUL SETTERS filled the club with music until five in the morn- ing when tired-but-hungry couples went out for an early breakfast to end a truly long but exciting evening.
