HOMECOMING 1974 A Knight Of Future .... Past October 4 was a day that passed with tension emo- tion, and most of all excitement ....... Fairview was to take on the Littleton Lions. With seconds left in 7th period class, one could feel the thriving band which brought out everyone's peak emotions and sent chills into many Knights on hand. With game time 7:45, only minutes away, Fairview fans began to come from everywhere, flashes of red and white were bouncing far and near. As the march- ing band began to play and the crowd to cheer, the Mighty Knights stepped on the field ...... As halftime came five girls who were awaiting the fi- nal moment ...... Lori Ratliff was crowned 1974 Homecoming Queen, The underclassmen lsopho- moresl won the float contest. As it neared the end things were looking bad for the Knights, as Littleton was leading 19-15. People began to leave, faces were hanging low, then it happened. With 44 seconds left on the clock, Steve Boeding got the ball ran it in for a 21-19 score, the kick was good, and the VICTORY was OURS! l ll Seniors get a head start on Senior Weeklll

50's DAY Oldies But Goodies Bobby socks, rolled-up jeans, knee length skirts, and saddle shoes were seen on the dames, while the dudes came with tight jeans, sun glasses, and greasy D.A.s. this was the scene for 50's day, Oct. 4. These big daddys bopped to the sound of the Beach Boys, Elvis, Flash Cadillac and many other '5O's-'60's groups in the Student Center throughout the day. Becca Byers and cool daddy.
