Under the direction of new FHS teacher, Mr Hannisian, the orchestra participated in the Music Extravaganza and the fall musical WHERE'S CHAR LIE. The group also put on their annual Winter and Spring concerts. In January, the talented musicians performed benefit concerts at area junior high schools. 15 of the members were selected to play with the first annual Centennial League Or- chestra that performed Jan. 26 at Heritage High School. Charles Tucker looks puzzled. Becky Metzger. Meeting 8th hour twice a week, 15 mem- bers ofthe Chamber Orchestra concen- trated on music composed especially for string instruments. The small group consisted of students selected from the orchestra, and perform mainly with the Madrigal Choral group. Under the direc- tion of Mr. Hannisian, the small orches- tra presented an early Spring concert with the voices of the Madrigal singers. An arrangement by Mr. Hannisian called YEA JUSU JOY OF MAN'S DE- Sl RES was the pinnacle of the concert. CHAMBER ORCHESTRA Plucking Players Lisa Jarvis, Sarah Ridley, Becky Sangster.
