Drama as self-expression thrives at Fair- view under department head Rita Ma- jors. The styles of the drama classes var- ied because the themes of each were dif- ferent. From film making and its me- chanical props to Introduction to Thea- tre with its creative character to acting as the communicative summary, the plots change. GIRLS' GLEE ADVANCED ENSEMBLE Songbirds This year in their green and yellow dresses both girls' chorus entertained Fairview fans and had good times. The choral department headed by lVlr. Revier is an elective existing in full scale, despite budget cuts, because al- most one-fourth of the school participates in it. Nearly everyone in one of the choirs adds another to his schedule. With the first practices for the Extravaganza performance came a group spirit that grew to more than vocal harmony by the Christmas Concert when SILENT NIGHT was sung together with the other choirs, and remained in class practices through June.
