CLASS PROPHECY CONTINUED The Three Muskateers were very pleased when they found that Orlyn Grlenke known as the strong but s1lent type has taken Bob Hope s place on the rad1o As you all know Bob Hope has ret1red and Orlyn 15 really on the ball when lt comes to tellmg Jokes Shlrley Temple has not marrxed s1nce her dlvorce from John Agar but rumors are that Orlyn xs keepmg steady company w1th her We all w1sh Orlyn success wlth Shlrley and hope th1s romance contlnues as Orlyn had h1s heart broken by a former FBIYVICW gxrl and he could not stand to have 1t broken agam Pluto Neptune and Mars excused themselves from Orlyn s presence as Orlyn had to transact an lmportant bus1 ness negot1at1on 1n regard to hxs Dude Ranch 1n Montana The report on Kathryn Johnson from the Muskateers was very exc1t1ng After graduat1on Kathryn attended I S T C at Cedar Falls for two years and taught for one year Th1s l1fe soon proved too monotonous for Kathryn so she journeyed to Par1s France She became wldely known for her modellng 1h the latest French bathlng suxts Katxe experxenced one of the most excxtmg hlghhghts of her 11fe a year after she went to Par1s She became the w1fe of a certam graduate from somewhere 1n Buena Yxsta County Upon the1r return home the happxly marr1ed couple have been presented wlth two sets of twlns The boys are Pete and Repete and the glrls are Kate and Duphcate Katxe IS very busy w1th her housework and chlldren but she also fmds time to s1ng quxte frequently over several rad1o statxons and at many of the local meetxngs One of her Muskateers left Kathryn and her fam1ly feelmg that she 15 maklng the best of her talent ed l1fe They w1shed her much success ID her careers Our three frxends found Dorothy Larsen l1v1ng north of Storm Lake Before her marnage to W1llard Fjordbak Dorothy worked as a telephone operator 1n Storm Lake for three years Dorothy and Wxllard have flve chlldren She has such horrxble memo nes of her former classmates that she named the ch1ldren after them Orlyn and Lynn the twxns are the eldest The other three ch1ldren are named D1ck Kathryn and Ruth Dorothy and Willard are loyal supporters of the Truesdale communlty and have h1gh hopes that the chxldren w1ll 1nher1t the1r parents muslcal ab1l1ty As The Three Muska teers bxd the Fjordbaks good bye Dorothy and W1llard sa1d farewell 1n return by s1ng mg Now Is The Hour The three colorful characters made the1r f1nal call on the former Ruth O Bannon Before her marrlage to a tall dark and handsome hero she studxed art at the Un1VCTS1ty of MISSOUTI at Columbla Ruth s name IS well known throughout the world for her success ln art She IS the female ed1t1on of Rembrandt Ruth also desxgns most of her own clothes Her husband stays home and takes care of the qumtuplets Jay Fay Ray Gay and Tay whlle Ruth earns the l1v1ng The Three Muskateers left Ruth s home thanking her for the 011 portra1t of her famlly 9 most remembered events was when she sang at Dorothy Larsen's wedding. Class H :story On August Z9 1938 nme beglnners enrolled at Faxrvxew School They were as follows Dxck Anderson Barbara Burgeson Lynn Faust Jo Ann Hart Kathryn Johnson Dorothy Larsen B1ll Madsen Loxs Molgaard and Donald Qulfln Joe Van Wxnkle and Gerald Thomas jomed us dur1ng our f1rst year and Loxs Molgaard dropped out because of lllness Mlss Irene Marsau was our teacher Gerald Thomas dropped out and Melvlna S1evert jolned our class 1n the second grade Mxss Oma Small was our teacher In the thlrd grade Melvxna Sxevert and Donald QUITID moved away Our teacher durmg thls year was M1ss Lauretta Ness In the fourth grade Robert Kohn jomed our class Our teacher was Mxss Ruth Anderson Our f1fth and sxxth grades remamed the same Our teachers durmg these two years were Mlss Shlrley Grange and Mxss Elma Van Steenwyke Barbara Burgeson moved away dur1ng the summer vacat1on Joe Van Nxnkle dropped out and Ruth O Bannon and Orlyn Grxenke entered the class Our teacher durmg the seventh grade was M1ss Ardeth W1lladsen Our class remamed the same 1n the e1ghth grade w1th the except1on of .To Ann Hart who moved to Cahforma Our teacher was Mlss Gladys Florme In September 1946 the class of 1950 entered h1gh school B111 Madsen left our class dur1ng the Freshman year In our Sophomore yc r Robert Kohn moved away Our Junlor and Senzor classes remamed unchanged The class of 1950 consxsts of D1ck Anderson Lynn Faust Orlyn Gr1enke Kathryn Johnson Dorothy Larsen and Ruth O Bannon Durmg the f1rst two of our successful h1gh school career D J Frledlund was the Supermtendent and M1ss Helen Larsen acted as Prxncxpal Ardeth W1lladsen was a teach er durmg our Freshman year Norman Mxller was the coach and teacher for our last Class Prophecy The communlty of Fa1rv1ew School has heard many compl1ments about the class of 1950 They have ass1gned the Three Muskateers Pluto Neptune and Mars to gather 1n formatlon about thxs progressxve golden class Our three fr1ends found D1ck Anderson hvxng on the home ranch f1ve m1les north and one and three quarters m1les west of Alta Iowa D1ck marr1ed Ardyce Garton a former H1ghv1ew g1rl The happlly marrxed flghtlng couple are busy raxsmg the1r famxly of two boys and one glrl At the present D1ck has s1x marrxed hxred men workmg for h1m D1ck ll kept very busy taklng care of h1s w1fe and chlldren and managlng the busmess affaxrs He 1S also busy bemg part tmme custod1an of the park wh1ch he has erected for the szxty ch1ldren of h1s employees The Muskateers left the Anderson home wlth the sat1sfact1on of knowmg that D1ck 15 doxng very well 1n h1s l1fe and probably wxll be a rnultxrnxlhonaxre Pluto Neptune and Mars made then' next call on Lynn Faust He IS hvmg on the home place seven and three quarters m1les north of Alta The classmates of Lynn expect ed h1m to marry soon after graduatmn as he was the romeo of the class To everyone s surprxse we fmd that Lynn IS a popular bachelor The Three Muskateers heard that Lynn was a progresslve fellow They journeyed to the Alta Advertxser offxce to look up hxs past exper1ences They found that Lynn IS the holder of many blue r1bbons which he won by exhxbxtmg hxs cattle at the Alta fa1r, the Waterloo Cattle Congress, and the International Lxvestock Show ln Chxcago The three characters went back to Lynn s farm and ate rolls and drank bachelor made coffee The Three Muskateers left Lynn as he put on hrs lup boots and went out to feed hrs herd of l 000 purebred cattle They wzshed h1m luck on the next cattle market and bad ham farewell 8 three years. Mr. and Mrs. Lawver joined the faculty during the Junior and Senior years.
