PROPHECY OF CLASS OF' 49 Accordlng to the Crystal ball Rlchard Pedersen IS located on a farm two m1les South of the school He IS happxly marr1ed to a former Alta g1r1 and they now have two ch1ldren named Edward and Earl He owns h1s farm and has h1s sons work for htm Bud owns a f1X mt shop and probably w1ll sell out or gxve hls farm to hls boys Rmchard fixes thlngs from A to Z he truly has found an occupa.t1on ent1rely su1ted to hun It 15 poss1ble that wxth a lot of luck h1s new venture w1ll become a prof1table buslness Rupert Nelson the crystal ball reveals 15 a forest ranger m the North western part of Montana He met a pretty Indman ma1d and they were marrmed They moved to h1s place 1n Yellowstone and they now have three young braves Rupert 1s rapldly work1ng up tn government servmce and he w11l soon have charge of the Yellowstone D1str1ct of Forest Rangers No doubt Rupe owes much of h1s success as a ranger through h1s contacts wxth the Class of 1949 12 li VI . . u la - . . . . . . . . 1 1 ' . . . . . . . . . . .

PROPHECY OF CLASS OF 49 Mr Lawver w1th the use of a crystal ball he obtamed from Ibn Saud Kmg of the Arabs now foretells the future of the Class of 1949 twenty years hence He f1nds Norman johnson after hxs four years of college settled down on one of the famous Garberson farms Norm has quite a time getting h1s work done Although he has a new Chevy convertable he still uses his old made over 47 Chevy for a tractor but 1t has slowed down a lot By the way Norm was wedded to a very pretty college coed who no one has had the fortune to meet Norm is not the run about he used to be now that he has found h1s one and only Maybe h1s four 11ttle run abouts have somethmg to do with it too Mr Lawver sees jack Ltndeman slttlng ln an over stuffed chair wrth horned nmmed glasses mn the Superzntendents office at Roosevelt Hzgh School He has several degrees B A and M A and Ph D He ms marned to glrl from his mother s home town Marathon and they have two flne chlldren a boy and a g1rl The boy rs ten and 15 expected to be a great athelete for Roosevelt Hxgh jack has a very mee home near the school and a new DeSoto He has done very well 1n the last few years H1s future looks very hopeful The Crystal ball IS now cast on Duane l..1ndl1ef who seems a bit worse for wear after nearly twenty years of nagging from h1s wife whose maiden name was Edyth O Bannon He IS farmmg h1s father s farm two miles north of Fairview He has had varxous econom1c hardships but now he owns three farms He made lots of money durmg the Russ1an War They have e1ght chrldren fwe boys and three girls They w1ll some day make up the Fa1rv1ew basketball team as they are all talented m the art of basketball The girls are musxcal They recently won the state music contest mn a tr1o number Another glance 1n the crystal ball Mr Lawver fmds Waldo Bruns stxll sxngle Although he has been marrmed several t1mes six to be exact He and Harry Shaller own a half mterest um a bank 1n Des Moines Waldo also has fxfteen hundred acres in Iowa and owns a ranch of two hundred acres xn Wyommg Waldo owns four Cadillacs but he gave one of hxs late models to one of hzs past Supermtendents Clmto Lawver Speakmg fznanclally Waldo has done very well although his wives have really cost hun a lot of ahmony Another projectxon into the future Mr Lawver f1nds Kenneth Gregersen smgmg on the C1ty Servxce Program over N B C every Monday night Kenny is quite a Casanova wmth the femxmne leads rn the mus1c world of today Although he stxll thanks alot of h1s old flames an Storm Lake and last but not least the gxrl from Fatrvzew of whom he st1ll has a famt recollectxon It IS doubtful whether Kenny w1l1 ever settle down But he IS making a success of his musical career ll u ov . . . - r . , . . . . . - . . . 1 y . . . - O . . . . . . . . . . . . , - 1 Q 0 i I 0 . . . 1 0 r f . . . . , . . . . . . . . . . . . g . . - . . . . . , p . . . . . . . . 0 . . . . . . . . . . . - . 1 . . . . . . . 9 . . . , . . . . . , . . . . - - - 1 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 5 1 0 0 ' . . . . . . - . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 . . - . . .
