The well-oiled machinery of the Fairport School System has come about largely through the efforts of the seven hard working citizens pictured above. Many of the policies tha have added so much to the balanced curriculum at Harding have been initiated by this group. Two of the seven seats, now empty, will be difficult to fill. One of those seats has been occupied by the late Grant Bittner, for seventeen years a vital force in public education at Fairport. The other vacancy has been caused by the resignation of Mrs. Hazel Farmer, who capably served as School Clerk for a ten year period. The Harbor Light staff extends their appreciation to an effective policy making body: The Fairport School Board. I
