Foreword When the l-larbor Light Board met for the first time in l943, it was con- fronted with many problems brought on by the war. With Uncle Sam telling us to conserve, and with shortages in film, paper, and labor staring us in the face, the publish- ing of the l944 l-larbor Light looked doubtful. However, the l-larbor Light Board, having done its best to overcome these difficulties, has again come through. And it is with great pride that we submit this book to you, the public, with our sincerest wish that it will meet with your approval. The Harbor Light Board.
