EDWARD BIHARY Our senior pal whose name is Eddy, Has a smile that's always right and ready. Although he seems to have no worry, He's often in a rush and hurry. In a rush he comes, he goes, Why he hurries, no one knows. EDWARD PALKO He likes to sing, he likes to dance He'Il always find time for romance, And how he speeds around that court For in basketball he's quite a sport. GEORGE KORPI ' He used to be shy, That passed off by and by. With a girl on each knee Nonchalant he will be, For he's really a wolf now you see. CLAYTON LEATHERS He wants to work for Uncle Sam To Iam the Japs and make them scram, So, Eleanor, he will Hogya tight Then fly away into the night. MARY TROHA Never will our Mary Troha fit, and be contrary. If you want to know a bit About Sports, Ask Mary. YOLANDA VEGSO Bright as a dollar, cute as a panda That's our Yolanda, She's as busy as a bee But there's always time for Lee. MARILYN MACKEY She cares for her sweets and her candy, And she certainly did like her Andy, But a nurse she will be and we really can see In a white cap and a gown she's a dandy. MARY LOU KIIKKA This girl's name is Mary Lou, Her hair is red and she's never blue, A stenographer she wants to be, And she will be one wait and see. EDITH AHO A new addition to our clan, She kept her record spick and span, Calm and cool and never rude, Our Edith still was not a prude. ALAN HILBERG His name is AI, He's a very good pal. They say he was shy, But oh, me and oh, my I couIdn't believe it of AL MARGARET KAPOSTASY Her name is Margie Kay, She'II make you laugh all day. She is dark, plump, and jolly, And we like her, by golly- ANDY RITEK Never late for a date- That's our Andy. He used to be somebody else's beau, But, don't rush, whoa.. They say he's back-maybe so- RAYMOND VOLANSKY He answers to the name of Ray About him there is much to say, He's quite a spark When out on a lark, A Romeo, this boy, in his day. RUTH MOSER Ruth is the name of this maid Who'll never be sullen or staid, She could make you laugh Though you're on the staff Of the best undertaker in town. IRENE VAN JURA They call this girl just I.V.J. She likes to sing and dance away, She's full of pep, and I hate to see, One who isn't as gay as she. MARY FETCHKO A very nice girl who keeps to herself In a dream world all of her own Does she think of a castle by fair winds blown, r A prince, or a mischievous elf? SHIRLEY SHOLTIS This girl's name is Shirley Her hair is blonde and Curley She's waiting for the day until The war brings-back her sailor Bill. WILLIAM ORIS William Oris is his name In the service he'll make his fame. As a private, or whatever he'Il be, On the land, or on the sea.

Seniors In Verse DON HALL Oh, Donald Hall, Oh Donald, near Esther's locker You would always stall. EVELYN MOHNER This cheery girl with smile so gay Comes up from Independence Way. She works at WooIworth's Five and Ten, And sells an item now and then. IRENE LASZLO Irene Laszlo is her name. Her wittiness will bring her fame. She makes you laugh until you cry, She'll keep you laughing 'till you die. MARION WOOD She is blond, she is fair And for tars has a flair At present her heart throb is Bill His motto right now is We will But after the war he'll forget every ill And they'll make a most nautical pair ADRIAN LUOMA Our Adrian now is a sailor boy And his boat is no longer a toy, He'Il make good, so he says, and not look at a girl Until he's an admiral. LILLIAN HORVATH She dances along so gay In a world all bright and pretty. You know it would pay If all girls were as nice as our Yiddy. ELEANOR HOGYA Gentlemen, so they say, Will prefer a blonde any day But here's a dark gal Who's a fine little pal If you don't believe it, ask WackerL MYRTLANN KN UTTI NEN She says she wants to be a nurse, She's pretty, she's blonde, she's neat, When she stops by each cot no soldier curse For they know 'twill be a real treat. LINDA POHTO We can't imagine BilI's crooning But he isn't so bad in a pinch Lindy Lou, I love you, he is moaning Just before he goes into that clinch. will 24 ELEANOR SABOLIK Eleanor loves to hear Frankie croon, So far, she hasn't fainted, Each night before the radio she'll moon, She claims he's not the fool he's painted. TOMMY HAKLI The fat ones, the lean ones, The blonde ones with curls, I loved 'em and left 'em- The poor, little girlsL ci-IARLES SIEGWARTH My name is Chaz, And when I paz The ball upon the court, The fans scream, The other team ls several points short. ELSIE SAARI With hair so blond and eyes so blue, She led our cheers the whole year through. At dancing she cuts quite a rug, For she is quite a jitterbug. RICHARD BOWEN He may be small, but still and all Upon him many burdens fall, In acting he has lots of talent, In any part-if meek or gallant. JAMES GALM In school he is quite a student And to any class a boon, And you will find him on the gridiron, An honor to white and maroon. OLGA SALUK The name she signs is Olga, She's from America, not the Volga. She's not easily riled, She's quiet and mild. Olga's modest, she's not vulgar. MARY ELSZASZ She works at the show As you ought to know, ' For she'll usher you right to your seat. She has a voice that is mellow, So watch out, young fellow, She'll sweep you right off of your feet. JEAN ARMSTRONG We know a girl named Jean, Who's pretty and tall and serene, She might love a soldier, perhaps a marine? But it's a sailor called Buddy, we hear.

HEN RY H I LSTON When next year rolls around We will really miss this boy, For in any sport at all To the coach he was a joy. A DOROTHY REGO She has a sense of humor that is really hard to beat, And a smile for every boy or girl whom she should chance to meet, It will be a sorry day when from our high school she will pass For it's fun to know someone like this gay and laughing lass. EDWARD KANDORE His name is Eddy, we hear hers is Betty, Too bad they don't rhyme, For even in our prime We were never a poet And we know it. TOIVO WERRONEN This lad who used to be quiet Has now become quite a riot Don't tease, he may bite But he's really all right A lad in a million-our ToivoL CECILIA JASIK Cecilia, Aren't you afraid Someone might steal ya? l'd like a tiny maid- ESTHER PESHO Pesho Feels low When Don's not near. Pesho May show A ring next year. DORIS KANYUH Doris, Kanyuh Tell me why You've always got Mischief in your eye? 26 NORMA HOLSON She is small and fair, A girl oh, so rare, And what a line She hands out each time They try to make her care. MARGARET BESEDA A just right girl is Margie, Not small, not large, she ls happy and snappy And never, never sappy. MERVIN KOSKI In going to and from the school You never see him run, But on the gridiron he was tough From the start until the gun. GEORGE MARSHALL The Naval Air Corps claimed this fellow In sports he always was a star, Scholastically, he was really mellow Marshie's a lad who will go far. VIOLA WIEMERO She belongs to the Fairport Band The one that's the finest in the land, This girl has friends galore, She'll probably raise a family of four, Viola is the name she'll sign On the bottom of every line. BETTY BERESH Betty is really one fine girl Her hair is dark and has a curl, She's small and dainty, Someday she's make the right boy care. MRS. PATCH This teacher's name is Mrs. Patch, The door to English she will unlatch, Whenever you want to stage a play Just call on her, she knows the way, MR. WILLIAMS Oh, you should see his chickens With red glasses on their eyes, They don't use them to read Dickens For they're really not that wise.
