Blue Stars Of The Senior Class l As the United States entered its third year of war, men all over the nation volunteered their services to their homeland. Everywhere boys have traded in their books and pencils for uniforms and fighting equipment, They realized that their country needed them in this great emergency. From the senior class, we are proud to say, there are five such boys who are now in the ever-growing forces of Uncle Sam. At mid-term several other members of the class of '44 left to join the service of their choice. Undoubtedly, the remaining seniors will be in the service of their country by this summer. We pause to pay tribute to all the boys in the service and especially to our five classmates. These are the ones who gave up their education so that democracy might live eternally.
