SECOHD TEAIH Fair1nount's Little Quakers had a splendid record for the 151-lil-1941 season. winning everv game except a hard fought battle with the second team of Gas City. The score for this game was 15-12, the Quakers losing in the last half after an 8-T lead at the intermission. Fighting from start to finish in every' battle of the season the reserve team defeated such opponents as Dunkirk. Rossville, Gaston. Yorktown. Montpelier. and Therntown. Making up the second teani wire all undzrrelassmen. who are good prospects for the varsity next year. Reading frozn left to right are: Clvcle Underwood. who is no longer in school. George Ice. Max Walker. Bob Trader. Doran Smith. student manager. O. H. Rigsbee Jr.. Charles Gaddis. Gene Owen. Jeff Titus. Phil Sellers, James Baker. and Jack Murpliy. student manager. Charlgs Gaddis. also a varsitv plaver. led the little Quak- ers in the season's scoring reeerd with 512 points. George lee followed in seeond place with 8-1 tallies. The faet that a sec- ond team game ciuarter is only 6 minutes instead of the usual varsity 8 minutes shows the aeeuraey of the upsand-coming Quakers. YVith Clvde Underwood and Max VValker regular starters. both towering over ti feet. the height along with snappv hall handling. gave the seeond string-ters an average of 25.2-1 points per game. Their opponent's averaqe was 16.515 points per battle.
