Situated in the southwest ,corner of the state, Kettering is a residential area Whose homes enjoy the beauty of its rolling hills and wooded areas. Kettering was named for its renowned inventor and scientist, Charles Kettering, who was a life-long resident ofthe area. Sixteen schools provide the educational facilities for the children living within the Kettering school district. Charles Power, industrial arts teacher, displays the symmetry and beauty of one of Ohio's largest campus-style high schools. Fairmont's seven beautiful buildings contain the sophomore, junior and senior classes with an enrollment of approximately twenty-five hundred students. An interested public, a hard working staff and a fine student body have made this school possible.
