CLASS OFFICERS: Ronald Wolf, Secretary; Dale Chandler. Vice-President; Manja Moore, Social Chairman; Robert Emery. President; Warren Webster, Treasurer. The Class of 1955 As we the class of ' 55 look back upon that September morning three years ago when our first eager steps were directed toward Fairmont High School, many fond memories begin to unfold. Our first chance to display many talents was the sophomore assembly. Stand In For Juliet, under the able direction of Bill Bass. Island of Intrigue was truly enjoyed by the students as the sopho- mores worked hard to make this first dance a success. As our junior ye ar dawned, responsibilities were gradually and continually growing. In addition to the wonderful dance, Sweetheart Swing, and assembly, Americans in Algiers, was the junior play, Best Foot Forward, by J. Cecil Holm. This light-hearted comedy helped to finance the Junior-Senior Banquet which was held the last of May. The climax of the year was the Junior- Senior Prom. It was well worth the effort displayed by everyone. A grand time was had by all. And now our last steps will echo through the halls of Fairmont as our senior year comes to a finale. Activities of our last year will linger in memories for years to come. Among the activities was our humorous comedy, Pygmalion, by George Bernard Shaw, We shall remember our last dance, Toyland Fantasy. School events come to end with Record Rhapsody, our last contribution to Fairmont High School. These three years will never be forgotten. We leave this message to next year ' s students: Good luck and farewell from the class of ' 55. Dairy ' O '
