WELCOME We are students; where we end is where we begin. 231 : ■ -•■ • ' It has been at the same time both a good and a bad year. There were a few happy times, and then there were those times that every editor goes through. But the book is finished. For this year, at least. Our staff was not a large one, by any means, and that made things rather difficult. But we did what we could and we don ' t apologize for our efforts to produce this publication. This book is mostly a compromise between what we wanted and what we had to work with. You will have to decide for yourself what you think of the 1 976 Mound; we cannot decide for you. I will admit my bias, as I am sure the other staff members will, but that doesn ' t necessarily mean towards. If given the chance, I ' m sure that there are many things we would change. And yes, Mom and Dad, I can get back to school and back to important work. The fun and games are over. They ' re all over now. It ' s over. Thank God and thank J. E. Short, Krista Anderson and Randy O ' Field.
