Led by an energetic core of cheerleaders, an eventful year begins with the gay festivities of homecoming. Students are settling into the routine of concentrated study and various social activities. The curiosity of the freshman is heightened as they see that the future will offer a wider spectrum of academic, cultural, social, and athletic programs.

In I 893 the campus was moved to a new location at Fairmont Avenue and Second Street which is pictured above as it appeared in 1900. At that time the cultural program included literary societies, music groups, and an enlarged academic program. Today ' s cultural opportunities ranges from skiing in the winter to theater in the round during the summer. Also an esthetically stimulating campus contrasts classical architecture with modern lines of new and proposed buildings.
