I These twelve seniors who were chosen to repre- sent the school in the na- tional publication. Who ' s Who in American Colleges a n d Universities, h a v e shown abilities in coopera- t i o n a n d leadership a 1 1 through their college years. They were chosen because of their academic records, their service to the school, their citizenship, and their promise or future success in the world. Second row: Joan Hollen, Dean Margaret Copeland, Virginia Tosti. ' SltLf te To be elected a member of the Blaz- ers is an honor every senior girl looks forward to as a grand finale. Each year outstanding senior girls are elected to this honorary women ' s organization. The Blazers serve as head counselors for counselor ' s camp each year. Here the chosen counselors are given instructions for the senior day and registration day activities. They assist the freshmen in finding their way about the campus and in helping them get accustomed to col- lege life. The Blazers is a comparatively new group on the campus, but is looked at by all the girls as a goal for their senior year.

Annually the juniors sponsor the Jun- ior-Senior prom, one of the highlights of the year. This year the prom was one of the most success- ful and will be remembered by all the students. With all their enthusiasm the students are looking forward to their senior year and all of its activities and honors.
