All American We took a chance. It was a risk worth taking when 23 students received a standing ovation on April 29th for their successful performance of “All American.” This was the first time in quite a few years that Fairmont High School has produced a musical. The story centered around Professor Fo- dorski’s (Matt Schepers) arrival in America to teach engineering at S.B.I.T. College. He proceeds to use his teaching to lead the football team to the Cotton Bowl with the help of Bricker the Kicker (Neil Dawson). Along the way they were challenged by Elizabeth (Jane Lowe) and Susan (Marcia Le- fler). The play was co-directed by Cheryl Greger- son, Cheryl Luzum, and Denice Kovanda. All 23 members of the cast can be proud of all that they accomplished. There were many laughs and giggles, some grief, a few tears, and much hard work, long hours, and pride that went into this per- formance. Back How: Eric Schepers, Matt Schepers, Neil Dawson.
