Foreign Exchange Students Bring “Good Times” To F.H.S. Matti Helelft A demar DalCol During the 1974-75 school year, Fair- mont High welcomed three Foreign Exchange Students into the Senior class. Matti Helelh was from Isojoki, Finland. He resided with the Buck Roper family. Matti only went to F.H.S. the first semester and quit to attend the University of Nebras- ka at Lincoln. He also worked part time at the Heritage Home in Geneva. Ademar Dal Col of Colatina, Brazil lived with the Bob Hoeft family of Grafton. He began school at F.H.S. the second semes- ter and graduated with the Class of 75. Ademar s future plans are to go back to Brazil in December and attend the Univer- sity of Brazil. Luis Enrique Benitez better known as ,fHenry came from Asuncion, Paraguay. He lived with the Wayne Henkel family. Henry went the entire school year at F.H.S. and he also graduated with the Class of 75. Henry plans to go back to Paraguay and in six months come back to the U.S. to attend the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. The Senior Class of 75 had many ’’good times” together that will always be remem- bered. Our exchange students were a part of them.
