Although the team was young and the season proved to be frus- trating. the players kept up their spirit. Having a tough schedule didn't hurt the Fairmont Ti- gers until after the half when most of the teams started pulling away. The Tiger Team took part in three tournaments during the year. The first was the Trumbull In- vitational Holiday Tournament. They were beat out both nights. First by Trumbull and then by Giltner. The Tigers were defeated the first night of the Pioneer Conference Tournament after a hard battle with Lawrence.
