We, the graduating class of 1962, respectfully dedicate this annual to Mrs. Farrar for the inspiration and guidance given us during our sixth and eighth grade years, for the patience shown us while we were struggling through our years of basic learning, and for the courage given us to make the big step into high school. She was our guiding light on the road to accomplishment and success. We extend to Mrs. Farrar our best wishes for health, happiness, and continued success in her chosen field. The preparation of a prom is not only hard work but can also include a lot of fun as indicated by these pictures. The first major project was that of draping the sky with blue-star crepe paper. One half of the gym was realistically changed into a sidewalk cafe. The sides of the dance floor and cafe were strung with pink, blue, and white crepe paper. An Eifel tower and a fountain illuminated with colored lights w'ere placed at opposite sides of the dance floor. The Juniors' hard work and fun was completed by noon, Saturday, April 14. That evening the Juniors and Seniors began their evening in French style to the theme Gay Paree. .After grace was said, we were served a delicious meal in the realistic Cafe' de Paree. After the welcome and response, entertainment was given by Francis Hurst and Bruce Todd. Dance music was provided by Glenn James and his band. The dancers danced under the stars with the silhouette of an Eifle tower in the back- ground. An enjoyable evening was had by all in Gay Paree. 32 Entering; Paree Main attraction The fountain -Sponsors- GENEVA STATE BANK Geneva, Nebraska PHILSON S THRIFTWAY MARKET Fairmont, Nebraska Boy is this good.
