It is a good thing that Mid's and Lee's Drive-In has recently been ex- panded to cover a whole block, because it has been chosen as the site for the gathering of the class of 56 on the twenty-fifth anniversary of their graduation from good old Fairmont High. Sipping a soda we find Mr. Robbins, who is still on the Fairmont facul- ty, but has given up teaching the sciences for one of the finer arts, music, to be exact, talking t© Miss Allen, who has taken Christian Dior's place in the designing world and also has a bookkeeper's job on the side. We remem- ber these two people as our Senior Class sponsors. Well, who do we see in the next booth? None other than Jan Busselle and Bernard Norris still having a little spat. Jan is now the head hair- dresser in Chicago's largest beauty salon, Janice Cleopatra's Hideaway. Bernard is one of Chicago's best known lawyers, and has his own law firm. We find Floyd Jacobsen walking over to put some money in the juke box for a polka. Dlch Frazler is supplying the money. Since these men have not found the perfect woman they have become confirmed bachelors, and are Joint owners of a used car lot. Who is this that is Just arriving? Ohl It is Sandra Roby and Barbara Hall, of course their last names have changed, but they are giggling as usual. Sandra is Fillmore County's Hot Rod Queen and her husband and four children consider her a queen around the house, too. Barbara has taken Annie Maloney's place as singer in the Paul Moorhead dance band. Her talents come in handy when her children's lullaby time comes each evening. In an out of the way corner of the room we see Jerry Smith with his feet up on a stool engaged in his favorite past time, namely, loafing. He can afford to though, he has been blessed with an inheritance of six million dollars. In another booth we find two of our redheads, talking over family life. They are the former Betty Tice and Shirley Perkins. Betty has five children and plays the baritone and piano in her husband's dance band. Shirley is now leader of all girls 4-H projects in America. Sitting at the counter watching TV we find Ivan Little who is still getting up at five in the morning to do chores, but they are of a different nature nowdays • You see, he is the properous owner of a chicken farm.
