Velma June Sheets: Sheetsy says Ah! nuts! , ex- cuses herself with I'm sleepy , likes Charles Boyer and Betty Davis, enjoys walking and playing the piano, goes for John and the Coast Guard Band, hates jazz music. Robert Morris: Rob tells one and all to k'Lay it! , wishes his name were Percy and hates women, Bill Dakos is his favorite maestro and he thinks The Strip Polka is rugged, spends free time skipping. Gerald Victor Yost: Jerry likes baseball, drawing, Betty Grable and thinks the West Hi Band is tops. He can be heard singing Pistol Packin' Mama and hates tattle tales. Betty Jean King: Camera, Choral, Red Cross, Girl Reserves Club. Betty thrills to Alan Ladd, Humphrey Bogart and Raymond Scott playing l'll See You Again , despises sarcastic souls and people that don't like to eat. Nancy Brown: Thespians, Masque and Gavel, Bridge Club. Solidl , says Nancy, croons I'll Understand likes bowling, dancing, Bette Davis and John, excuses herself with I forgot. Cary Rosevear: Bridge, Tri-HifY. Jack is Cary's favorite boy's name and she hates classes and 'Lneckf ing , Desert Song played by Harry James is her favorite, Overfslept is her sheepish excuse. Laura Snyder: Arts and Crafts, Tri-HifY, Bridge. Laura likes drawing best of all and we all know how good she is. Bette Davis, blue, and riding are her favorites and she lets Duke Ellington play 'kjust A Memory. Martin Talbott: Camera, Printing, Choral Club, KL?UB. Martin goes for baseball, Barbara Stanwyck, and Freddie Martin. He hates to get out of bed and wonders why none of his excuses work. Plans to be President of the United States. Pete Hamilton: Classical and Technical courses, mem' ber of Arts and Crafts, HifY, Lettermen's, Stage Crew, Student Government. Petie gives out with Holy Cow , likes football, Susan Peters, and 'iSurry With the Fringe On Top and he spends all free time messin'. Flora Jo Lobuts: Maple Leaves. Flora is crazy over basketball and dancing, listens to Glenn Miller and hums Sunday, Monday, or Always . Ronald Reagan and Bette Davis are her special screen favorites. Virginia Crebar: Commercial 1Club '43, Student Govern' ment '41, Girl Reserves '40, Red Cross '40, Virginia loves to read, play tennis, and wear blue dresses. She likes Harry james, says Murderl , her favorite actor- Clark Gable fno wonderl, jim Davis: Technical Course, member of Choral Club, Letterman's Club, KLYUB, Thespians. Ralph Dunsmore: L'Ditty's pet hate is conceited females, likes the name i'Slug , says nertz , goes for Donald Duck and Gypsy Rose Lee, sings the Strip Polka, and spends his extra time just restin', also, enjoys football. Margaret Ellen Copeland: Arts and Crafts, Choral Club, Drama Club, National Honor Society, Thespians, Science Club. Maggie thrills when Tommy Dorsey plays I'll Never Smile Again , loves Walter Pigeon, the name Elinor, and Horseback riding, hates getting up in the A.M. ' Violet Todesco: Choral Club, Maple Leaves '43, Honor Society, Science Club 42. This grand gal has no pet hates , loves to met people, is crazy about Besame Mucho , and favors Bob Hope. jane Bergman: Arts and Crafts, Choral Club. Is a Public Address announcer. This chicken hates to get up in the morning, croons Night and Day when she isn't buzzing on the telephone or swooning over Artie Shaw. Benny Brown: Technical rCourse. Member of Student Government and Hi-Life of 43'-44. Benny's favorite color is strawberry fblondesj, likes the song, Why Don't You Do Right , fputting it mildlyj he enjoys necking, his original excuse is 'Tve gOt a petrified leg. Some feller! joan Banks: Girl's Athletic 42, TrifHifY 43, UI don't like to write letters and I hate to wash my hair , says Joanie, I do like the name David, and nobody be' lieves me when I give as an excuse, 'I couldn't make it'. Frank Pagliaro: Technical Course. Member of Military Club in 1941. Frankie likes football, basketball, color red and Glenn Arnett's band. Errol Flynn and Betty Hutton come Hrst on his list of actors and actresses. Pistol Packin' Mama is his favorite tune. Eleanor Scritchfield: Eleanor belongs to the Science Club and Spelling Club. She has an original excuse that she gives,-'Tm always too early. Believe it or not her pet hate is sleep! She likes red, adores Betty Grable, plays soft ball and sings Paper Doll. Jean Carskaden: Choral Club, Camera, Masque and Gavel, National Honor Society, Girl Reserves. Jean adores listening to the radio, Alan Ladd, and Harry james. Buddy is her favorite name and we couldn't guess why. Anna Mae Heffner: Maple Leaves '43, Science, Girls Athletics Club. Anna Mae is in the Distributive Edu' cation class, loves baseball, jimmy Stewart, writing poetry and Harry James giving on You'll Never Know . Despises disloyal friends. Richard Smith: lChoral Club, Lettermen Club, Student Government, Kl?ub president. Smitty plays football and the Hwoliing game , Sammy Kaye's version of Stardust suits him fine, hates Physics class, but thinks Betty Grable and Mary are po-lenty C.K.

Frank likes the 'name Eleanor, thinks Bill Dakos' orchestra is tops and Bud Beerhower is his favorite actor.-Some choice. Bob Thompson: Technical Course, lMember of HifY, and Military Club. Bob goes in for football Qwhat a playerlj, likes Flynn and Stanwyck, sings Pistol Packin' Mama and listens to Harry James, hates girls but a certain little twirler can turn his eye. Connie Kriedler: Arts and Crafts, Bridge, TrifHifY. Connie won't tell her favorite expression but she hates to wash dishes, likes Glenn Ford, horseback riding, and Harry james. If she's late it's because she didn't know what time it was. Elizabeth Jane Nigh: Girl Reserves, Spelling Club. Elizabeth adores Bernard, Robert Young, and swimf ming, usually misses the bus cuz she's day dreaming. If you hear faint strains of You'll Never Know , it's probably Elizabeth. Ruth Saunders: Camera Club, Girl Reserves, TrifHifY. Ruth wishes they would ix the hill to school so she wouldn't have to climb it. She loves to hear Harry james on his trumpet play A Little Bit of Heaven. Lucille Virginia Morgan: Commercial Club, Red Cross. This is one of the few people who hates nothing and nobody. Wonderful! She is crazy about Walter Pidgeon and uMy Heart Tells Me played by Harry James. Dick Kohler: Technical Course, Member of HifY, Avia' tion Club in 41f42, Maple Leaves of 43, Honor Society, Thespians. k'Professor likes polo and Errol Flynn, disf likes Harry james, sings I'l1 Never Smile Again and studies psychology. Mara Bell Tucker: Girl's Athletic 42, Commercial Club 42. Mara Bell wishes she could change her name to Rebecca, but don't worry, cause Albert likes it the way it is, hates to go to school but likes to sleep. Rachel Knight: Masque and Gavel, Thespians, TrifHifY, Choral Club, Maple Leaves '43. Rachel likes dancing, horseback riding, Tim Holt, and the name Lee , Where is she! Had to see a dog about a man' Does she study for tests? Humfrnfmfm, sometimes. james Borrell: James thinks blue, basketball, Spencer Tracy, and Raymond are tops, likes to hear Bill Dakos give with No Love, No Nothing, despises rationing and getting up early. One good turn deserves an' other is his slogan. Herbert B. Mercer: HifY, Aviation, National Honor Society. Herbert likes the color red, joke magazines, football, basketball, and softball, favorite name is Dorothy. fWe wonder whyj, likes joker , but hates too much homework. Frankie Reaser: For someone to call her Frank gives Frankie the worst of nightmares, considers Betty Grable tops, and dislikes to go to the movies and play base' ball.
