Thinks green, Betty Grable, Tyrone Power, and Kay Kyser play' ing Don't Sit Under The Apple Tree are all tops. Nancy Welch: Baldy has a pastime of loafing at Knights, hates beans, thinks the name Henry sounds pretty good, thinks blue is a nifty color, loves to hear Tommy Dorsey play Shoo Shoo Baby. Josephine Katherine De Masi: Commercial Club, Red Cross, Student Government '42, This darkfeyed gal wears blue, likes to read, and says UI forgot when asked for an excuse. Teresa Mae Oliverio: Student Government. Ain't it so! gives forth Teresa, likes basketball and dancing, Harry james thrills ther, sings If You Please, goes for Bette Davis and Ronald Reagen. Bette Moroose: Girls' Athletic, Spelling Club. Softball, Bing Crosby, and Bill are tops on Bette's list of favorite things. She sings When They Ask About You and likes to wear green. Martha Lee Abel: Athletic Club, Commercial Club. March enjoys I couldn't do it as her best excuse is goofy about the Marine's Hymn played by the Marine band, likes basketball and George. Louis Elia: Letterman's Club, Military Club '42 This swell fellow is one of F. H. S.'s best basketball players, likes to play tennis and golf, is always sleeping overf time, and says that Teresa Wright is THE actress. Betty Jane Davidson: Red Cross, Spelling Club. Betty thinks the song How Sweet You Are suits a boy by the name of Bob , says The car stalled which happens to be the truth, hates prissy school teachers. Harry Byer: Classical Course, Member of the Kl?ub. Harry fWolfQ Byer doesn't like girls fha! halj or work, admires Harry James, likes the name Constance Qwhy?j goes through the halls singing Stormy Weather and spends his spare time swimming or loafing. James Edward Swisher: 'Camera Club, Stage Crew. Jim thinks Clark Gable, Nancy and softball are tops Wishes he could get Maria Montez to Cuddle Up A Little Closer . . Where is he? Probably building model airplanes. James Todesco: Choral Club, Arts and Crafts, Military 'Club. Jim is an unusual boy. Has no pet expression or hate. He doesn't even have a good excuse, likes the name Nancy especially well, is another Betty Grable fan and prefers James Cagney as a male actor. Dorothy Meredith: Girls Athletics, National Honor Society, Science IClub, Student Government '42, Trif HifY. This quiet, but oh so nice 'girl likes to hear Harry James play Night and Day . Can't find her? She's in the gym playing basketball. Page Nina!

Page Eighteen Margaret Ruth Dodge: Girls Athletics, Science, Girl Reserves, Camera Clubs. Margaret Ruth loathes to get out of bed and going to the dentist. Adores basketball, music, and Cary Grant. She swoons when Harry James gives with Stardust Burl Bane: Spelling Club. Burl thinks hunting, blue, and Harry james are all tops. Likes to sit and think fwe wonder who it isj. If you hear the strains of Paper Doll coming down the hall, it's probably Burl. Alice Ford: Choral Club, Student Government, Drama Club. Alice is EditorfinfChief of Hi Life and president of Masque and Gavel. Adores West High Band, Tommy Dix, and swimming. She hates to come in before the sun is up. Sara Rose Buckey: Choral Club, National Honor Society, Maple Leaves '43. Sara Rose adores swimming, Rodney, piano playing, and Harry James. Loathes drips and silly girls. g'For Me and My Gal makes her swoon. Dolly June Collins: Spelling Club. Murder! sez Dolly whenever cats ffour legged ones?J come into sight. She likes to write letters and listen to the Marine Hymn played by Sammy Kaye. Frank Webb Snyder: Frank always uses the excuse 'Somebody died while his favorite sport is embalming. He likes the song Bury Me Not On The Lone Prairie while he spends his time eating liver sandwiches. Joan Wilson: Twirlers '4l. Reading murder books, bowling, and swimming occupy this gal's time. She considers having nothing to do worse than ever work' ing. Joan is one of the many who are thrilled by Dennis Morgan. Harold Beerbower: Bud's favorite expression is on the ball , likes the boy's name Bud fno conceit in his familyj, is a current listener to that wonderful orchestra of Bill Dakos. Prefers football as a favorite sport. Frank Urso: Monk's favorite color is blondes, His favorite pastime is wolhng which he does when he is away from his pet hate, school. He loves to hear Harry james play Pistol Packin' Mama . Betty Grable is his favorite actress. Minnie Nash: Band, TrifHifY, Red Cross, Twirlers. This dandy sponsor hates chemistry, likes to write letters, thinks Tyrone Power and Bob are tops, and approves of Bill Dako's band. Evelyn Corbin: Spelling Club '43. To play the piano and not have to write letters are Evelyn's idea of a grand time. In her opinion Gary Cooper, Rosiland Russel, and Harry James are tops. Mary Lou Hufford: Art and Crafts, Commercial Club. Blondy sings Stardust, thinks of Jerry, writes letters in her spare time, and hates exams. She is mad about Bing Crosby fwhat-no Sinatra?j, enjoys basket' ball, and is true to the Navy.

Ralph Dunsmore: L'Ditty's pet hate is conceited females, likes the name i'Slug , says nertz , goes for Donald Duck and Gypsy Rose Lee, sings the Strip Polka, and spends his extra time just restin', also, enjoys football. Margaret Ellen Copeland: Arts and Crafts, Choral Club, Drama Club, National Honor Society, Thespians, Science Club. Maggie thrills when Tommy Dorsey plays I'll Never Smile Again , loves Walter Pigeon, the name Elinor, and Horseback riding, hates getting up in the A.M. ' Violet Todesco: Choral Club, Maple Leaves '43, Honor Society, Science Club 42. This grand gal has no pet hates , loves to met people, is crazy about Besame Mucho , and favors Bob Hope. jane Bergman: Arts and Crafts, Choral Club. Is a Public Address announcer. This chicken hates to get up in the morning, croons Night and Day when she isn't buzzing on the telephone or swooning over Artie Shaw. Benny Brown: Technical rCourse. Member of Student Government and Hi-Life of 43'-44. Benny's favorite color is strawberry fblondesj, likes the song, Why Don't You Do Right , fputting it mildlyj he enjoys necking, his original excuse is 'Tve gOt a petrified leg. Some feller! joan Banks: Girl's Athletic 42, TrifHifY 43, UI don't like to write letters and I hate to wash my hair , says Joanie, I do like the name David, and nobody be' lieves me when I give as an excuse, 'I couldn't make it'. Frank Pagliaro: Technical Course. Member of Military Club in 1941. Frankie likes football, basketball, color red and Glenn Arnett's band. Errol Flynn and Betty Hutton come Hrst on his list of actors and actresses. Pistol Packin' Mama is his favorite tune. Eleanor Scritchfield: Eleanor belongs to the Science Club and Spelling Club. She has an original excuse that she gives,-'Tm always too early. Believe it or not her pet hate is sleep! She likes red, adores Betty Grable, plays soft ball and sings Paper Doll. Jean Carskaden: Choral Club, Camera, Masque and Gavel, National Honor Society, Girl Reserves. Jean adores listening to the radio, Alan Ladd, and Harry james. Buddy is her favorite name and we couldn't guess why. Anna Mae Heffner: Maple Leaves '43, Science, Girls Athletics Club. Anna Mae is in the Distributive Edu' cation class, loves baseball, jimmy Stewart, writing poetry and Harry James giving on You'll Never Know . Despises disloyal friends. Richard Smith: lChoral Club, Lettermen Club, Student Government, Kl?ub president. Smitty plays football and the Hwoliing game , Sammy Kaye's version of Stardust suits him fine, hates Physics class, but thinks Betty Grable and Mary are po-lenty C.K.
