Maxine Hendrick: Red 'Cross Club. Maxine is crazy about the name Dick ? ? Y Out of town is her excuse, likes Harry James and the song As Time Goes By , hates to get up in the morning, pastime-wolf1n'! Edgar Shurtleif: Band, Kl?ub. Ems or Eddy Mac dislikes the rationing system, sings Muskrat Ramble and listens to T. Dorsey, likes the names Gus and Marie, enjoys watching Dame Mae Whitty on the screen and spends his free time playing the piano. Ioan Reese: Arts and Crafts, Camera :Club '42, Choral Club, Red -Cross '42, Twirlers '42. This petite gal is a man hater, so she says: She is crazy about Van Heflin. Robert H. Brannon: Bob is keen about Humphrey Bogart, Gypsy Rose Lee Qwowlj, basketball, and movies. He always has to go to work when asked to do some' thing. A great guy! joseph Robert Congress: Motion Picture Crew, Ques- tion Club. Bob favors Bob Crosby's orchestra. Likes to fish, and has to spend his spare moments trying to solve trig problems. Poor guy! Barbara Estelle Nickolich: Girl Reserves, Student Government, Red Cross. Barbara has the right idea- she hates tests, is mad about Harry James, and goes for swimming. Her excuse is a woman's one- I forgot . Warren Epperly: Band, Kl?ub. Bud likes the color blue and spends his time either in the 'movies or with Doris, loathes East Side but certainly not Betty Grable, gives out with a Phooey occasionally, his ever ready excuse is I was in conference. Mary Frances Davidson: This is another basketball fan-she doesn't miss a single game. To hear Harry James' band go to town on 'LHoliday for Strings is her idea of paradise. Jean Boyer: Jean is in the distributive education class, likes to sing and dance, the name Bill and Guy Lombardo's orchestra. Martha Louise Green: Girl Reserves, Spelling Club. M,artha is a Harry james worshiper, goes to the movies strictly to see Deanna Durbin and Bing Crosby, blue is her favorite color and she writes letters as a pastime, dislikes those certain boys and sings Paper Doll. jack Hedges: Jack wishes school would stop so he could spend all his time fishing and sleeping. Probably developing pictures. Imogene Dolores Romino: Arts and Crafts '41, Girl Reserves, Red Cross, TrifHifY '43. The Blue Danube Waltz is heavenly, she says. Her pet hate is study halls -imagine! Marjorie Wwdward: Girl Reserves, Red Cross. Marj is a loyal fan of the U. Sf. Marines, says Pon my honor! , likes to swim and sleep, Intermez,zo takes the cake for her favorite song, Jack, Ingrid Bergman, the color blue, and Gary Cooper fascinate her, dislikes hair ribbons. Tony Camele: Band, HifY, Military Club '4l. Tony, or the Dreamer, which, by the way, is his favorite song, thinks Gene a nice name, always has some excuse about his clock 'being slow, and says f0o. Colleen Gotses: TrifHi-Y, Science Club, and Spelling Club. Colleen thrills when Duke Ellington plays Somef body Else Is Taking My Place. Definitely despises drips but adores Clark Gable, tennis, playing the piano and the color pink. Virginia Cowell: Girl Reserves, Motion Picture Crew, Red Cross, Virginia spends her time listening to Kay Kyser play Stardust , doesn't like black nailpolish, kinda 'iadmires Donald O Connor and Alice Faye, blue is her favorite color. Mary Jo Murray: She's a manhater! Imagine! She likes to ice skate, admits that Clark Gable is grand, and is in heaven when Tommy Dorsey plays You'll Never Know. George Stalnaker: Letterman's Club, Military Club' 41. George likes Errol Flynn and says that Glenn Arnett has the best band. As his excuse he uses I missed the street car, Hunting is his favorite pastime, but football is the best sport. Harold jones, Ir.: Military Club '42, '43, Shucks, I forgot is usually heard from Harold. He thinks Betty Grable, basketball, blue, Lucille, and Harry james givf ing out with Shoo Shoo Baby are tops. Bonnie Wilwn: Maple Leaves '43, Arts and Crafts, Choral Club. Bonnie would rather talk than do any' thing else, or so her teachers say. She swoons when Harry James plays i'Paper Doll, thinks basketball, Richard Green, and swimming are the stuff. Thomas Paul Feorene: He does not like women-listen, pal, there are few enough men left without you having to hate females! He does like work, ice skating, and has to admit Betty Grable is pretty nice looking. Bernice Reynolds: This gal likes Kay Kyser's band, basketball, reading, and the song, They're Either Too Young or Too Old fhow truell. Her excuse is always 'Tm too busy, sez Is that so? and hates eating- imagine!

If you hear the strains of Paper Doll coming down the hall, it's probably Burl. Alice Ford: Choral Club, Student Government, Drama Club. Alice is EditorfinfChief of Hi Life and president of Masque and Gavel. Adores West High Band, Tommy Dix, and swimming. She hates to come in before the sun is up. Sara Rose Buckey: Choral Club, National Honor Society, Maple Leaves '43. Sara Rose adores swimming, Rodney, piano playing, and Harry James. Loathes drips and silly girls. g'For Me and My Gal makes her swoon. Dolly June Collins: Spelling Club. Murder! sez Dolly whenever cats ffour legged ones?J come into sight. She likes to write letters and listen to the Marine Hymn played by Sammy Kaye. Frank Webb Snyder: Frank always uses the excuse 'Somebody died while his favorite sport is embalming. He likes the song Bury Me Not On The Lone Prairie while he spends his time eating liver sandwiches. Joan Wilson: Twirlers '4l. Reading murder books, bowling, and swimming occupy this gal's time. She considers having nothing to do worse than ever work' ing. Joan is one of the many who are thrilled by Dennis Morgan. Harold Beerbower: Bud's favorite expression is on the ball , likes the boy's name Bud fno conceit in his familyj, is a current listener to that wonderful orchestra of Bill Dakos. Prefers football as a favorite sport. Frank Urso: Monk's favorite color is blondes, His favorite pastime is wolhng which he does when he is away from his pet hate, school. He loves to hear Harry james play Pistol Packin' Mama . Betty Grable is his favorite actress. Minnie Nash: Band, TrifHifY, Red Cross, Twirlers. This dandy sponsor hates chemistry, likes to write letters, thinks Tyrone Power and Bob are tops, and approves of Bill Dako's band. Evelyn Corbin: Spelling Club '43. To play the piano and not have to write letters are Evelyn's idea of a grand time. In her opinion Gary Cooper, Rosiland Russel, and Harry James are tops.
