She'll be at majorette practice. john Sayre: This quiet fellow fone of the few left around herej is very certain that Sammy Kaye's orchestra is tops. He is mechanically minded and loves the color blue. Mary Jo Smith: Choral 'Club, Science, Thespians. Is a Public Address announcer and is one of our snappy twirlers. Mary Jo loves to dance and hates being broke. I forgot is her most used excuse and she'd like to change her name to Rebecca Patricia Hale: Girl Reserves. Pat loves to wear yellow, sez could be, thinks Dennis Morgan is wonderful, likes the movies, and is not at all keen about washing dishes. Rachel Ann Hamilton: Choral Club, Maple Leaves '43. Rae likes the names Lewis and Sylvia, adores Cary Grant, basketball, dancing, and Harry james playing Just As Though You Were Here . Loathes getting up before twelve. Dale Jones: Lettermen, Military, Spelling Club. This grand fellow spends his time hating Tojo Inc., hunting fwhat?J, or .thinking how marvelous Lana Turner is. To hear Harry James play L'My Shining Hour is Dale's idea of heaven. Margaret Ruth Shackelford: Girls Athletics '42, Comf mercial Club '42, Spelling '43, Twirlers '43, Margaret is one of our man haters. She much prefers swimming, sleeping, Bette Davis, and Harry James. Wait For Me Mary is her one and only. Betty Clevenger: Betty hates work and likes to go bicycle riding. Goes around saying You're rugged , and jumps when she hears the trumpet of Harry James. Authana June Boyce: Girls' Athletic '43, Spelling Club '43. With the exception of Bob , Authana thinks all men are poison. She sez that's solid , and in this age of boyish girls she likes to embroider. Jeanne Wallace: Girl Reserves, Athletic Club, Red Cross, Science Club. Jo hates jazz music, Turhan Bey and joan Fontain are her favorite screen starsg You'll Never Know played by Harry James is O.K. to her, goes for the name jimmy and the color blue. Gloria Hirsch: Gloria's favorite movie stars are Alan Ladd and Betty Grableg hates to study but likes to danceg listens to 'Harry James play The Dreamer, likes the color green. st,-N Page Sixteen james Allen: Band, Printing Club '43. Jimmy is loyal to F. H. S. His favorite actor is Clyde Franklin and Bill Dakos rates number one on his band list. Where is he? Probably developing pictures. Imogene Dolores Romino: Arts and Crafts '41, Girl Reserves, Red Cross, TrifHifY '43. The Blue Danube Waltz is heavenly, she says. Her pet hate is study halls -imagine! Marjorie Wwdward: Girl Reserves, Red Cross. Marj is a loyal fan of the U. Sf. Marines, says Pon my honor! , likes to swim and sleep, Intermez,zo takes the cake for her favorite song, Jack, Ingrid Bergman, the color blue, and Gary Cooper fascinate her, dislikes hair ribbons. Tony Camele: Band, HifY, Military Club '4l. Tony, or the Dreamer, which, by the way, is his favorite song, thinks Gene a nice name, always has some excuse about his clock 'being slow, and says f0o. Colleen Gotses: TrifHi-Y, Science Club, and Spelling Club. Colleen thrills when Duke Ellington plays Somef body Else Is Taking My Place. Definitely despises drips but adores Clark Gable, tennis, playing the piano and the color pink. Virginia Cowell: Girl Reserves, Motion Picture Crew, Red Cross, Virginia spends her time listening to Kay Kyser play Stardust , doesn't like black nailpolish, kinda 'iadmires Donald O Connor and Alice Faye, blue is her favorite color. Mary Jo Murray: She's a manhater! Imagine! She likes to ice skate, admits that Clark Gable is grand, and is in heaven when Tommy Dorsey plays You'll Never Know. George Stalnaker: Letterman's Club, Military Club' 41. George likes Errol Flynn and says that Glenn Arnett has the best band. As his excuse he uses I missed the street car, Hunting is his favorite pastime, but football is the best sport. Harold jones, Ir.: Military Club '42, '43, Shucks, I forgot is usually heard from Harold. He thinks Betty Grable, basketball, blue, Lucille, and Harry james givf ing out with Shoo Shoo Baby are tops. Bonnie Wilwn: Maple Leaves '43, Arts and Crafts, Choral Club. Bonnie would rather talk than do any' thing else, or so her teachers say. She swoons when Harry James plays i'Paper Doll, thinks basketball, Richard Green, and swimming are the stuff. Thomas Paul Feorene: He does not like women-listen, pal, there are few enough men left without you having to hate females! He does like work, ice skating, and has to admit Betty Grable is pretty nice looking. Bernice Reynolds: This gal likes Kay Kyser's band, basketball, reading, and the song, They're Either Too Young or Too Old fhow truell. Her excuse is always 'Tm too busy, sez Is that so? and hates eating- imagine!
