S 'ix i K MR. BUCKEY Fairmont High School is proud to have as a friend, advisor and principal, Mr. William E. Buckey. As the leader of our school, he has established himself firmly in the minds of all as a man of fine character and understanding. Many times he has renewed our affection and admiration for him by his constant cooperation with teachers and pupils. In the community, Mr. Buckey holds a most favorable position. Throughout the entire state he is considered a valuable man among the educational circles. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Master's Degree from West Virginia University.

A+ DEDICATION +- We, the Junior Class of nineteen hundred and thirty- six, dedicate this book to the staffs of past Maple Leaves, who with their combined efforts produce-d annuals which are truly worthy of the admiration and consideration of all. There is no dissension or doubt concerning the estim- able work of the previous Junior classes. In dedicating this Maple Leaves, we wish to recommend the efforts of past staffs as a guide for those in the future.

Twice he stammered, stuttered, stopped, Finally he spoke firm as a clock Why most of the Faculty are doomed to be, Little black angels for awhile, said he. Yes, up in Heaven we are quite grand, But of all the teachers in this wicked land Yours are too good for our Heavenly band, SO we will leave them with Satan for a course in sin And' when they have worn their goodness thin If it pleases the Jr's, who are the ones we admire We will bring the Faculty to the land up higher.
