FOREWORD FOR the past few years it has been the custom for the Junior Class of this High School to publish the Maple Leaves. This year the press room was cleaned, the staff made its plans and started to work. Here we have spent many anxious hours, writing and rewriting articles, searching for lost manuscripts, and impatiently awaiting delayed contributions. We sometimes became discouraged, but we were buoyed up by the knowledge that we are doing our best for the school. We have tried to seal within the covers of this Maple Leaves the record of the numberless incidents that will soon become happy memories of the past. Therefore, we have tried to make this book modern, beautiful, and interesting to the students of our school.
