Then on the same evening, they pertormed at Fairmont Stadium Foreman Field. Atter school started, the band enter- tained the crowds at the tootball games during halttime each week. These per- tormances were learned and pertected in nine hours ot practice during sixth period every day and atter school on Mondays and Wednesdays. This year, the band's pertormances ranged trom strictly precision marching to poking tun at the political parties, while playing the latest popular and rock songs. The band also changed their pre-game, entering trom the sidelines and torming a tlying wedge. As the marching band dispersed, the concert band took shape with approxi- mately I lO members. The concert band rehearsed during sixth period every day, preparing tor their two yearly con- certs. The winter concert was in Febru- ary and the spring concert was in May.
