Eosl's Pep Club sponsors vorious spiral picker uppers Throughoul lhe year Pep Club engaged in numerous aclivilies which added spiril. As always, Wesl Week played an imporlanl parl in Pep Club's proiecls. This year Norlh Unil look lirsl place in unil decoraling cornpelilion. To add a bil ol permanenl spiril in each unil, Pep Club conslrucled lellers spelling Fighling Fairmonl Easl Pal- cons. They hung lhese around lhe lops ol lhe unil lobbies. Pep Club made new lellers lor lhe gym lobby also. Pep Club members broughl enlhusi- asm lo many sporls aclivilies. Along wilh lheir voices, lhey used emply pop cans, which lhey clapped logelher: red and blue rags, which lhey waved in lhe air: and large signs lor lhe leam lo run lhrough. Pep Club also sponsored spiril buses lor several away loolball and bas- kelball games. A very large viclory bell given lo Easl several years ago was pul lo use by Pep Club. They reslored lhe bell and made a lrailer lo carry il. They planned lo lake il along lo all lhe games in lhe lulure and ring oul lheir enlhusiasm.
