Eastern Graphics, Chem East allow students to operate own business This year, the students at Eairmont East and the community had the chance to benetit trom many products manu- tactured by the Junior Achievement companies, Eastern Graphics and Chem East. Meeting every Wednesday night, the members ot Eastern Graphics, a print- ing company sponsored by the Dayton Daily News, designed and produced personalized memo pads, printing circu- lars, and business torms. These products were sold tor protit which was paid to the members. Coming out with a new idea this year, Chem East produced Super Carb, a deodorizer guaranteed to deodorize anything. Under the direction ot Monsanto Corp., Chem East also made plant tood and tlower preserving lcits guaranteed to last indetinitely. Chem East was completely selt-sutti- cient with members owning all the stock. There were 40 shareholders.
