This year, 43 children Trom The OSSO Home, 84 NHS members, and TaculTy advisors enioyed a chicken dinner and evening oT enTerTainmenT. ATTer The dinner, everyone ioined TogeTher in The singing oT ChrisTmas carols. The Falconaires Then provided several musical selecTions, and STeve Hilgeman read a ChrisTmas sTory. SanTa Claus handed ouT ChrisTmas giTTs To The children, ending The parTy. ln order To make NHS an honor insTead oT a club This year, They spon- sored only Two acTiviTies, The ChrisTmas ParTy and Tapping ceremonies. Even The elecTion oT oTTicers was eliminaTed. Tapping ceremonies Took place in early spring. Any iunior wiTh a 3.0 or beTTer grade average was eligible Tor membership by wriTing a leTTer explain' ing his involvemenT in his school and communiTy.
