Seniors present dromotic comedy tor tirst time This year's senior class produced a dramatic comedy, 'The Madwoman ot Chaillotf Under the direction ot Mrs. Arlene Alcerman, the cast worlced long hours to pertect the play. Breaking tradition, Mrs. Alcerman decided to do a comedy this year rather than a tragedy as in previous years. She said this year's senior class had the talent to do a comedy, which is more ditticult than a tragedy. The point that the play tried to emphasize was that what is right tor one person may not be right tor any other person. The people ot Chaillot were content with their way ot lite, but big businessmen couldn't understand why. Corporation presidents thought it strange that people who had so very little and lived so simply could be so happy. The people, in turn, thought the presidents were strange because they were rich but still greedy. Upper Right: Atter regaining consciousness, Steve Wolte is comtorted by the Madwornan ot Chaillot, played by Darci Birmingham. Lower Right: Having iust been invited to tea by the Madwoman to help with her plans ot ridding the world ot undesirables, Constance, Michele Wilf liams, listens as Gabrielle, Kathy Pramer, presents one other own plans.
