Student cissistcints tdke interest in helping tdculty This year East students played an important role as student assistants. Three ot the main areas in which stu- dents helped were library assistants, audio-visual assistants and hall monitors. Library assistants helped check out books and magazines. They also helped students to tind materials they needed tor class projects. Audio-visual assistants ran projectors and record players tor taculty and stu- dents. They prepared charts that could be used as visual aids. Hall monitors helped to maintain order in the halls and loclcer bays. They ran errands tor the unit secretaries.
