Ken Dunbar-Co-captain Under The coaching of former All-American Bill RafTery, The MeTs managed To come Through a Tough season wiTh a seT of new records for Madison Cam- pus. Once again, The MeTs were handicapped be- cause of lack of heighT, buT They made up for This deTTciT in deTerminaTion and aggressive ball playing. In fact, in almost every game, The MeTs' players ouT- rebounded The opponenTs. This pasT season saw Kenny Dunbar go over The 1000 poinT mark. Kenny, co-capTain along wiTh iumping Gene HechT, also held The high score for an individual player for Madison, Gene HechT-Co-captain scoring 36 againsT a high scoring Quinnipiac Five. The MeTs, a fasT-breaking squad, reached Their season peak when, againsT Brooklyn Poly, They scored 93 points. Gene HechT led The Team in rebounds and scoring for The season, wiTh big Lew MaTzkin Taking second place in The rebounding deparTmenT. The season was filled wiTh rugged opponenTs, buT, as usual, The players from Madison never sTopped giv- ing an aIl-ouT efTorT.
