The Biology curriculum is designed for the stu- dent who plans to attend a graduate school and for the pre-professional student who wishes to prepare for admission to a school of medicine, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy or veterinary medicine. Just this past year, two students in the Biology Department were accepted by Temple Dental Dr. Carlson Dr. James GriEo-Chairman School after three years at FDU. This is an indi- cation of the thorough training that Biology maiors receive; the courses offered are many and encom- pass all of the important Fields usually required by graduate schools. Among these courses are: Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Bacteriology, Vertebrate Embryology, Genetics, Histology, Para- sitology, and Microtechnique.
