Row 2: Elizabeth Downey, Edith Hertzer, Helen Joyce Hayes, Lois Bottom, Janet Barger ' Row Donnel Dean, John Leop, Cecil Miller, iSponsorl Mrs. Hiatt, Franklin Cherry, Bully Martin, Si Christian. 4 Assembled at F. H. S. Central Station were 16 of us waiting to climb a- board the Junior Train . At the clang of the bell we all rambled to our seats anxious to get the new year started with a click of the heels. As the train gained momentum, there was so much confusion among us that we e- lected a conductor to keep order. After five weeks of rolling along smoothly we came to a halt to glance at our report card and see if we had earned our ticket to continue the jour- ney. We received quite a jolt from this stop, but let off a little steam and rumbled onward. During the basketball games we kept chuggin' along by selling con- cessions. We made an emergency stop at Track No. ll to pick up a souven- ir. What do you know, it's a ring! We were iarred a bit while changing tracks midway in our journey, but that didn't sway us and we entered the long dark tunnel of the second track. We entered from this tunnel with our cars laden with the knowledge gained from our ride on the Junior Train.
