This girl's finger has a ring, Looks like Cupids arrow did sting. In Government class she rates quite high, But her thoughts go stray at the sight of a guy. The pride and ioy of this fair lad, Is the curly hair that he once had. Study at school, study at home. Leaves little time for him to roam, The working member of our class. He changes the oil and pumps the gas. At the typewriter we find her sitting, About some boy, no doubt, she is fretting. Most will tell you that this girl's grand, And she's always ready with a helping hand And here we have the ladies' man, Whos at ease with June, Jill, or Jan, With her thoughts fixed. and her eyes aglistening To her teachers words, l am sure, she is listening. This is the girl with the pleasing smile, A sweet disposition and is always in style. Nothing suits people more than to be, In this ioyful lad's desired company.
