Class Prophecy On May 15, 1966 ten years after graduat1on, a discuss1on arose between two members of the class of 1956 as to the whereabouts of their beloved senior fnends. At the tllheg these two members of the senior class Mary Bricker and Betty Bowman, always close frlends in high school, were passing a fortune teller's booth 1n Dallas, Texas. After much debatlng they declded to go into the booth seeing a s1gn in the front of the bullding which read's Stevie for Truthie After entenng the building and talking to the proprietor for a while they found lt to be the1r old friend, Frank Stephens After a frlendly chat they discussed their problems w1th him telllng hm that they were intereswd 111 f:.nd1ng out about their old classmates After Mr Stephens had made the necessary preparatlons for gaZ1ng Lnto the future he arranged his crystal ball on the magic scenes of 1966 After a fast sp1n to the c1ty of Huntington, West Virglnia, they were pleased to fJ.nd that Paula Malcolm was now head nurse at the Huntington General secretary. Whlle :Ln the Huntlngton area they were surprlsed to find that Janice Sayre was worklng at the Mayfalr Burlesque Show, blowlng up balloons, and her partner Jerry Doughman, was sellmg darts to the people lfl the audience Thls proved to be a fery profltable busmess for a Joint partnershlp Kenneth Boster had at last achieved great ambition, playing in Harry James' Orchestra Stopplng at the home of Jackie Molter and Joyce Woods they found them knppily marrled, wlth an attractlve family of f1VE blond glrls They next traveled to Washlngton, D C where they folmd Kenneth Sheets , Ray Thornburg, Jack Edwards, and Bob Carter working in the F B I buildzmg as 17 Hospital and that another of their classmates, Sue Unroe, working as her pr.i.w.te . . . . . O O O C .

special agents Next to the desk of Mr Carter they recognized several attractive office g1rls Donna Cremeens, Phyllis Galloway,Barbara Reeve,and the I'eC6pt10!'liSt for the building was Margaret Hesson with her smlle just as broad as ever, and stlll in the talking mood Now talklng was her vocatlon, and she loved lt While in Washington they looked ln on the Benson Office and found there three capable agriculturists Leland Fulks, Bobble Brumfield, Gary Bowman, and Jirrmv Woodyard selling Fairland strawberries for the Quaker Bottom Area They found another former basketball star, Pete Cornute, who was also pros perlng ln his buslness, playing center for the Harlan Globetrotters They found that the housewives of the1r class Mary Eagleston Newman, Loulse Fuller Moore, and Margaret Murdock Boster had all very successfully kept Paula Malcolm well employed in that each had f1ve lovely chlldren Much to thelr surprise Ross Fulks was now prJ.nc1pal of dear old Fairland Hlgh School w1th a verv capable commerc1al teacher,once that bnlllaat conmermal student of the past, Donna Day. They found out from Donna, now an old ma1d but a most attractlve one, that Nancy Montrose was a very famous model for Macy's Department Store 1n New York and that she kept Donna up to date on everythzmg but a husband. Whlle further gazlng 1nto the Maglc, Crystal Ball, they found that Betty Jo Pinkerman amd Connle Sheets had turned out to be very famous journallsts for the Charleston Gazette and that both were wealthy wldows who spent most of thelr winters in Tampa, Florlda, eating oranges to secure weight v1tamins for thelr flgures. Llnda Duty was now the cwner of a very large cattle ranch near San Antonio, TexasQ J.
