foreign Canguages ... Door to Other Zands The world of the future will be one of expanding trade, travel, and communication. In all these fields language will become increasingly important. Our Foreign Language Depart¬ ment offers instruction in the modern tongues of French and Spanish, and in the ancient language, Latin. DONALD J. B. DUFOUR B.A., M.Ed. Mr. Dufour is the head of the Foreign Lan¬ guages Department. A graduate of Assumption College and Bridgewater State College, he teaches French. His varied interests include tennis, camp¬ ing, gardening, and reading French novels. ANTHONY G. BALDASSARRE A.B. Mr. Baldassarre teaches Spanish and French, but is also interested in Latin, Italian, and Por¬ tuguese. He graduated with honors from Boston University. His favorite pastime is playing the organ and piano. EDITH G. DIAS A.B. Mrs. Dias, who teaches Latin and French, grad¬ uated from Pembroke College. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, the theatre, and music. Mrs. Dias also takes great pleasure in traveling. Many of her summers have been spent touring European countries. 16
