Mr. Bither, who has been at Fairhaven High School for two years, is our vice-principal and disciplinar¬ ian. He is an alumnus of Boston University and Clark University; he holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Mas¬ ter ' s Degree in Education. Before coming to Fairhaven, Mr. Bither taught in Wareham and New York State. Among his favorite hobbies are skiing, fishing, swimming, and reading. MR. WALLACE BITHER Mr. Albritton is the guidance director for the Gen¬ eral and Business Course stu¬ dents. Originally from Junc¬ tion City, Arkansas, he grad¬ uated from Southern State College. Among his many in¬ terests are photography and sports. Mr. Albritton has suc¬ cessfully co-directed two Christmas plays and has di¬ rected our Senior Play. Our Administrators Are MR. CHARLES C. ENTWISTLE Mr. Entwistle, our principal, has successfully guided us through four years at Fairhaven High School. He received a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s Degree in Science from the University of Mass¬ achusetts. Presently, he is doing ad¬ vanced work at Boston University. Mr. Entwistle enjoys reading Civil War histories, making home improve¬ ments, and gardening. Everyday Mr. Entwistle deals with student problems, supervises school activities, and maintains discipline with a fitting blend of authority and understanding. Mrs. Bruce, our guidance director, is always available when students in the College Course need help or advice. She received a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s Degree in Education from Bridge- water State College and Bos¬ ton University. Her favorite pastimes are reading, cook¬ ing, and out-of-doors activi¬ ties. Mrs. Bruce’s valuable ad¬ vice has helped many of us decide our future careers. MRS. DORIS BRUCE 10

A Vote of Z.hanks to Our faculty We, the Class of 1964, have come to the end of our high school career. Our class was not the first, nor will it be the last to profit by your teaching abilities. We are deeply thankful for the fine example and outstanding instruction you have given us. You have helped us through four very important years in our lives—formative years which will deeply affect our futures. You have in¬ stilled in us the desire to learn, to achieve, and to strive for higher goals. We sincerely hope that we shall live up to your expectations, that you might be proud of the role you have played in pro¬ viding us with an excellent education. For your innumerable efforts and services performed in our behalf, we extend to you our unending gratitude and sincere appreciation. RICHARD L. ARIETA B.S. Mr s Arieta graduated from New Bedford Institute of Technology, Bridgewater State College, and has done graduate work at Siena College. He teaches mechanical drawing and is our assistant football coach. Among his outside interests are golf and basketball. LEO BALANDYK Mr. Balandyk is our band and orchestra leader. He attended the Contemporary School of Music in New York and played in the Eddie Duchin Orches¬ tra. His interests include fishing, swimming, and listening to high fidelity recordings. ANTHONY G. BALDASSARRE A.B. Mr. Baldassarre graduated with honors from Bos¬ ton University. He teaches Spanish and French but is also interested in Latin, Italian, and Portuguese. His favorite pastime is playing the organ and the piano. 12
