We are now in the vear which will mark the end of our vovage together. J J O O We embarked on our way four vears ago, and have slowly and steadily J J j J pushed forward until at last our destination is in sight. What is yet to come is unknown to all of us, but what has passed, will remain with us always. The memories of these years will always be there for us to rediscover. Even when names and faces have faded into the past, the times spent here will not be forgotten. This year, we have based the theme of the HUTTLESTONIAN on the sea, and the whaling captains of old. Our purpose in doing this was so that in the future, we may try to emulate the qualities of these men — courage, determination, the ability to differentiate between right and wrong, and above all, faith in one’s ideals. Once we succeed in attaining these qualities, we shall become closer to achieving our goal in life. Thus, in this year of 1953, as we set our course toward our aim — success, let us profit by the value gained from the experiences of these past four years, so that as we go our separate ways in the future, each of us may reflect credit on our faculty and our school, to whom we owe J J so much.
