The Record was first printed in January, 1926. At first it was a small edition, printed hy two shops on the South Hide. YVhen finaneial eondition grew het- ter a little later, the paper was enlarged to the pres- ent size, then, as the depression redueed the fund set aside by the advertisers, it was again a small edition. Finally. on aeeount of husiness strain, the Board of l'idueation deeided that high sehool papers eould no longer solieit advertising. After several meetings and diseussions, it was deeided that the journalism elass would print a weekly hulletin. 'l'his lvulletin endured one year. Then 'Amore meetings --more discussions, and on Oetoher fi, 1933 the I !Ii7',I!IT'!'Il Ifeeorrl again appeared in its present size, a printed newspaper.
