This building is a symbol of the tremendous growth of our school since its beginning in 1929 when a group of one-roomw school houses was consolidated. As our community grew, our school grew. We built many new additions to our school, but it seemed that no matter how fast we built, the community grew faster. During this growth, the people of our township were indeed progressive citizens who always voted 'gyesi' for school bond issues because they wished their children to have the best school that could be provided. Because of their progressiveness we now have one of the finest educational plants in the state. Where are we going now? No one knows where, but we are sure our community will be moving forward. Our annual this year has endeavored to show our school in every phase of its activities in and out of the classroom. Our chief aim has been to show life at Fairfield School. We have chosen g'School Days in Reviewi' for our theme. Our theme is not the usual type of themeg it is a panoramic review of our life at Fairfield School. The people of our school and their activities have dominated this year's book, instead of a superficial theme concerning a subject in no way related to Fairfield. We feel our review will speak for itself without being hidden by the type theme which means nothing to us. Our review has tried to interpret our school-not change it. We sincerely hope we have accomplished this task. Our whole staff has been dedicated to one thing--our school, and our only hope is that we have done it justice. CHARLES SHIVELY, Editor
