Their defense was good but their shooting eyes were off. As the season progressed the team,s eye for the basket improved. The defense was tight and it won some of the games for us. An excep- tionally low scoring contest was recorded against Xenia East. Fairfield held the ball until a very good shot appeared. The final score was Fairfield 34'-Xenia East 27. The highlights of the season were the twin victories over Hamilton Catholic, 50-4-6 and 57-55.
