EXPLGRER SCOUTS Explorer Post No. I4 of the Boy Scouts of America was activated in November, 1951, and sponsored locally by the Fairfield P. T. A. Our first charter contained the names of eight boys, but now has expanded to one of the largest posts in the Ft. Hamilton Council. Exploring is for boys between the ages of fourteen and eighteen. Since its inception the Explorer pro- gram has been devoted to building better citizens. This, the leaders feel, can best be accomplished by meet- ing the needs of boys mentally, physically and morally.
