BA D HELD CONCERT ASSEMBLY The Fairfield High School Band played for all of the home football games this year and went on one out of town trip to New Boston, Ohio. lt played for pep assemblies and held a concert as- sembly for the high and grade schools. The band played and marched at the County Fair and played also at the Spring Concert. A dance band was formed which furnished music for the min- strel. TROVE FUR HIGH GOALS This year the Future Farmers strove for the high goals of all members having an exhibit at the county fair, entering the State Reporter Award Contest, main- taining an average of B or better in agriculture, keep- ing a scrapbook of individual and chapter work, and reducing their livestock loss to less than 5 per cent. The group received a Bronze Rating in the State Parliamentary Contest. At left are pictured the officers. Standing are: Dan Middleton and Edward Brehm, reporter. ELEMENTARY GRADES FORMED BAND The Elementary Band is made up of players from grades four through eight. lt is comprised of musicians of one or more years' experience. The Elementary Band is led by the Beginners Band, whose members are promoted iust as soon as they have mastered the basic training on their ELEMENTARY S instruments. This year's band has about thirty members and has played in public three times. They played at a high school assembly, an ele- mentary assembly, and at the Elementary Music Festival at West Chester on May l. CHOCJL BAN
