The Student Council is an honor group com- posed of the class officers of the high school classes. It is the aim of this group to encourage all desirable school activities and to help pro- mote those things that make a better school, and a more wholesome school community. Our motto is Good Scholarship, Good Conduct, Good Citizenship. Within the Student Council is the Safety Council whose aim is to promote safety in the school, home and on the highway. The Fairfield Chapter of the Y-Teens held their meetings every two weeks at the high school. This year their activities consisted of delivering a Christmas basket and holding a dance called The Sno-Ball in Winter Wonder Land. The officers are: Jackie Quick, president, Evelyn Estes, vice president, Faye Miller, secretary, Janet Garland, treasurer, Barbara Wise, club representative. The advisors were Mrs. Dorothy Wise and Mrs. Ruby Franz.
