Home economics classes were under the jurisdiction of Mrs. Rink and Mrs. Lynn. In these classes students learned the proper techniques for making pancakes and sew- ing a stitch. Some of subjects in the home ec. department included family relations, bachelor living and family planning. The phys. ed. instructors were Mr. Reagan and Miss Miller. In Phys. Ed. , good sportsmanship and fair play were highly stressed. Some of the sports which phys. ed. students played were basket- ball, flag football, archery, volleyball, dodgeball, and gymnastics. Exercise and Food Make a Healthy Body. one ' s in the kitchen with iane! Laughing and smiling, Diane Kammerdiener enjoys cooking in Home EU;. I. Frustration strikes again. Home Ec. takes a lot of time, effort, and patience. Sophomore Diane Smith wonders if her outfit will ever come out right. 1-2 class hault. In 9th grade phys. ed. , in order to play a real tough game of football, you must first warm up. Here they work on jumping- jacks. a 72 Home Ec.
